Hot! China has won the prize for hacking?

While the U.S. and China work together on a regular basis on the economic front, both countries have also intensified cyber-espionage against one another. But the advantage would be on the Chinese side.
Growth of major nations cause an upsurge in acts of espionage. But now, they are more costumes in the James Bond who are on the front of the stage.
Indeed, espionage involves above all the telecommunications networks and information systems. According to U.S. investigators, China had stolen terabytes of sensitive data – ranging from user names and passwords of computers from the Department of State specifications (drawings, plans) of weapons systems of several billion dollars.
Diplomatic cables revealed by Wikileaks also show that Chinese hackers are particularly active. A cable dated April 2009 even claims that the attacks are directed by a specific unit of the People’s Liberation Army.
Relations between the Chinese government and the pirates, however, remain unclear. And U.S. officials, despite many suspicions have never been able to demonstrate a real commitment of that government and its army.
Finally, official figures do not include intrusions into computer networks business, which are part of a campaign of cyber espionage attributed to China, according to current and former U.S. officials of national security and computer security experts.
Asked by Reuters, a spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in Washington did not respond to repeated requests for comment. The U.S. State Department also refused comment.
