iPad 2
According to Research based on the recent reports, Apple could achieve a turnover of more than IBM or HP in the next two years.
It’s an interesting comparison on the rise of Apple, made by George Colony, founder and CEO of Forrester Research.
In an interview with Bloomberg, he believes that “sales of Apple could exceed that of IBM and HP over the next two years.” Specifically, George Colony believes that Apple would exceed IBM and HP in 2012 and 2013.
Steve Jobs’ firm could reach 200 billion dollars in sales, posting a sales growth of 50% over the next two years. It will just take a little peek on the latest available quarterly results of three U.S. IT groups.
Apple has achieved a turnover of 26.7 billion (first quarter of fiscal 2011 ended December 25, 2010). IBM shows a turnover of 29 billion dollars over the same period (corresponding to the fourth quarter of its fiscal year 2010). While HP has posted a turnover of 33.3 billion (first quarter of fiscal 2011 ended January 31, 2011).
According eWeek.co.uk, the entire range of Apple and its whole ecosystem is part of this growing insolent. This is particularly the software environment and convergence proposed by the “Apple brand” that attracts consumers.
The launch of the iPad 2 at the international level is not done yet as it will increase the sale dramatically.
