Google Chrome is blocking the downloads of malware

The new anti-malware tool built into Google Chrome should allow the browser to identify and block malicious file downloads initiated by the user. Google announced on its Chromium blog, its browser Chrome would soon integrate a tool capable of detecting malware in downloads.
Google’s web browser already incorporates the Google Safe Browsing API, allowing it to warn the user about the danger of a website and possibly block it.
This tool will soon be extended to download initiated from Chrome. The files lead to malicious sites integrated into the blacklist maintained by Google will then be reported to the user as possibly containing malware. The user will then decide whether or not to continue with the download.
This new security tool is currently being tested and can be tested from the development version of Chrome.
