Mozilla launches Firefox 4 for Android

A week after the launch of the Firefox browser 4 for client computers, Mozilla launches final version of its browser for mobile operating system Android. But critics are many.
Mozilla informed about the upcoming browser in August, when the company showed the first version of the software, code-named Fennec. Later gave Mozilla the program a name that is in accordance with its browser, Firefox 4 for Android.
Mozilla likes to talk about a new and improved interface, faster performance and better synchronization with the Sync feature, which allows users to keep track of bookmarks, passwords and open tabs on several desktop and mobile PCs.
The browser contains an interface for managing multiple tabs, with the help of the same features found in desktop version, which automatically receives the URLs that visitors have been on before. According to Mozilla’s Firefox 4 three times faster than Android’s own browser, thanks to the Java-based scripting engine Jaeger Monkey which is also used to run Javascript in the desktop version of Firefox 4th
Since its launch, however, users criticized the poor performance and lack of support for Flash media player.
They say that it is faster than the built-in browser, but it takes twice as long to open, according to a user who identifies himself as Andy in an evaluation on Google’s official Android Market App Store.
