Asus today announced that the company releases a new surf rolled this week that runs on Android 3.0.
On Friday, the Asus start accepting pre-orders on the company’s surf pad that goes under the name Eee Pad. Initially there will only be possible to order the surf board in Taiwan, but a global launch comes shortly thereafter says Asus.

Asus Eee Pad has a display of 10.1 inches and comes in models with either 16 or 32 gigabytes of storage space. The processor consists of an Nvidia Tegra two dual cores. In addition, surf board offer two USB connectors and a card reader for micro-sd card.
The operating system is Android 3.0, like Motorola’s Xoom, which was released last month.

Asus Eee Pad will cost $ 399 (about 2500 dollars) for the cheaper model and $ 699 (about 4400 dollars) for the more expensive model in the U.S.. The more expensive model also has the capability to be an external keyboard that makes surfing the plate to a notebook.
