The latest figures show that there are now over 11 500 apps on Windows Phone Market.
According to Microsoft, the company’s new mobile operating system Windows 7 Phone achieved great success among developers. In one year the development tool for the platform downloaded 1.5 million times and over 36 000 developers are now members of the Microsoft development team for Windows Phone, Microsoft said.
The number of apps for Windows 7 Phone has now grown to 11 500 since Windows Phone Market opened in November last year. The marketplace consists of 7500 beta patches.
